Comments: As hot as the Angels have been, for A. J. Burnett and the Blue Jays to win this one MUST have had something to do with my luckiness. Inglett, a DH batting 9th in the lineup, Wilkerson, and Barajas quickly made this a 3-0 ballgame in favor of the Jays. But eventually Maicer Izturis, Sean Rodrigues, and Jeff Mathis tied the game up at 3-3 for the Angels. Lisle Overbay came through with a clutch HR to seal the lead in the bottom of the 6th, which the Jays were able to hold for the last 3 innings. Thank god Torii Hunter and Vlad Guererro were unable to do any real damage. I hate Torii Hunter, he is the anti-White Sox.
The Rodgers Centre is expensive and kind of depressing, much like the Metrodome in Minneapolis. This is the first place where I've seen a park charge $9.50 Canadian for a beer. The floor of the field is made of astroturf and there are hardly any fans that show up to the park. The food however looks pretty good, but my budget would not allow me to take pa
rt. I had to pay $20 for parking here, and afterwards I went and got my relatives some Pizza Pide, an awesome Turkish pizza place in Toronto.
My relatives, Tara and Vineet, and their children live in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto. The visit was very short but they were so kind in giving me a quick place to stay and some good home-cooked indian food. I felt very at home, and next time I hope to be able to spend a little more time.
I'm also changing the lens on the camera. I think i need something a little more wide angle, going back to the kit lens.
Toronto reminds me of chicago, with a little less traffic, a little less headache, and a bit more polite. Its a fun town as I remember it, and I need to go back and see what life is like there.

It's too bad you had to move on to the next game and miss the chance to meet...Candy Maldonado!!! Seriously, such an opportunity would have made me rethink the whole plan. I mean, Candy Maldonado.
